Still remember a few years ago when I finally watch the Game of Thrones ( GoT ) series for the first time, after being curious to see nearby people so obsessed with the series. And here I am now with the same obsession, as big as theirs .

However, before finally becoming obsessed and becoming one of the millions of die hard fans of GoT , there was a moment where I was surprised when watching Season 1, because none of the battle scenes were displayed.

Though from the footage and pictures on the internet that I see, GoT is a colossal fantasy series like The Lord of the Rings . There should be a lot of fighting scenes. I remember several times asking the same question, "Where's the war scene?"

Each of the characters is told to face war, I was immediately taken to the scene after the war, where dozens of bodies lay in a ravaged location. The battle scene itself is never shown in Season 1.

Later I learned that before it became as big as now, in the early stages of the show, a series inspired by George R. R Martin's novel entitled A Song of Ice and Fire did not have a budget to display war scenes, with hundreds of additional casts and Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) is cool.

Even recently one of the cast, Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) revealed, during the shooting process of Season 1, GoT actors must be willing to stay at the holiday inn , not a five-star hotel like Hollywood artists in general.

Although holding a number of seasoned actors with big names in the world of cinema, such as Sean Bean (Eddard / Ned Stark) and Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont), the majority of actors involved in this series are young actors who just made their debut at GoT . Not even a few of them are still teenagers. Including Maisie, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark).

During the production process in the first few seasons , the  GoT characters were still caught on camera often traveling on the subway in their home countries, like the general public. And they can ride the subway comfortably without being surrounded by fans. That's because GoT is only popular when it enters Season 4.

But even without a huge budget, the series was able to make the audience amazed by the interesting, tense, curious, full of surprises and evoke the spectators' tears and anger because the tragic and shocking death of the main characters. More and more people are faithfully watching episodes, episodes, season after Complete season.
